With over 14 years experience in the biomass, KOVONOVAK COMPANY offer to the market, specialized grinding and pellet making systems designed for the smaller operator who wants absolute quality.
The pellet mill can pellet a wide range of materials:
The pellet mills consist of a dosing endless screw with a closed hopper.
The granulation material is poured into the hopper. The special endless screw carries the material to the dosing opening through which a precisely regulated dose of material falls into the mixing device. The remainder of the mass is taken back to the hopper so that it continues to circulate through the endless screw, overflow and hopper in the closed loop.
The mass that has passed through the dosing opening into the mass mixer can be mixed with other added components, steamed or moistened with water, and then it falls down directly onto the granulator wheels where, under high pressure and temperature, the granular material is partially plasticized by passage through the granulation matrix.
Continuous extrusion of the feedstock through the matrix channel at a certain pressure produces cohesive rollers – pellets, granules. The pellets fall down into a sorter in which dust and non-standard granules are separated from the granules. At the same time, the pellets are also cooled by passing through the sorter; thereby they are prevented from their later disintegration due to overheating.
The non-standard granules and dust are returned to the hopper via the spiral screw conveyer and re-passed through the pelletizing process.
The finished granules fall out of the sorter into a prepared container.
The main circuit breaker of 25A (MGL 200) and 40A (MGL 400) is fully sufficient for the line operation.
Before granulation, it is necessary to crush all the raw materials with a larger grain size than 3 – 3.5 mm through sieves of 3 – 3.5 mm. Fine materials – for example fine sawdust without shavings, bran, fine chaff from the grain cleaning, fine chaff from cleaning poppy, rape, sunflower, etc., do not have to be crushed.
The pelleted material must not contain foreign substances, especially stones, sand, clay, parts of plastics and metals, lubricating materials and oilseeds of the oil plants.
are an ecological bio fuel with high energy content (about 5 kW/kg) and thus with a high calorific value. They are produced by pressing from wood sawdust without the use of other additives. They usually have 6 mm in diameter and around 25 mm in length.
are organic bio fuel with high calorific value. They arise from pressing various bio wastes, e.g. waste from cleaning grain and straw, hay, various crushed pits, waste in the production of coffee, crushed sorrel.
an essential component of them are meal, mill feed and other raw materials (e.g. dried fodder plants, beet pulp, dried sawdust), whose physical-mechanical properties allow their bonding.
